Querya Desktop showing a database table in the data grid

Why Querya

A database client should be fast, trustworthy and enough for every engine you use.

  • Fast

Native and lightweight. Only what is on screen is rendered, so big tables stay smooth.

  • Private

Passwords live in your OS keychain. No telemetry, no analytics, no account.

  • One client

Stop switching tools when you switch engines. One workspace and one set of shortcuts for SQL and NoSQL.

See it in action

Real screens from the app, no mockups.

A SQL studio with real tabs
SQL studio

A SQL studio with real tabs

Write, run and cancel queries without freezing the app. Every tab has its own session.

  • Isolated sessions and transactions per tab
  • Execution time, row counts and a searchable history
  • Query plans in one click with Explain

Built for people who live in their data

The things you do every day, done properly.

A grid that never lags

A 2D virtualized grid keeps memory flat and scrolling at your refresh rate on large tables. Sorting and filtering run off the UI thread.

Edit safely, commit deliberately

Change cells in place and review the generated UPDATE, INSERT and DELETE before anything touches the database. Commit or roll back in one click.

A SQL studio with real tabs

Isolated sessions per tab, cancellable queries, execution plans, searchable history and highlighting for every dialect.

See your schema

Explore tables, views, indexes and triggers in a tree, then open an ER diagram with groups, notes and saved views. Export to DBML or PDF.

Mongo and Redis, first class

Browse documents, run aggregations and manage indexes. Scan Redis keys by type and use a built-in CLI.

Production guard rails

Mark connections as Production and confirm risky statements. Reach private databases through SSH tunnels.

Ask your AI, safely

A built-in read-only MCP server lets Claude, Cursor and VS Code query the connections you share. Credentials are never sent to the model.

Fast everywhere

Command palette (Ctrl/Cmd+P), quick switcher (Ctrl/Cmd+K) and full keyboard navigation.

Yours to shape

Import any VS Code theme. Add drivers and themes with extensions.

Six engines. One interface.

Native drivers, no JDBC, no setup. More engines through extensions.

sql

PostgreSQL

Schemas, materialized views, TLS verify-full.

sql

MySQL

sql

MariaDB

MariaDB 10 and newer.

sql

SQLite

Open .db, .sqlite and .sqlite3 with a double click.

key-value

Redis

Typed keys, db0 to db15, built-in CLI.

nosql

MongoDB

Documents, aggregations, indexes, per-field save.

Your data stays yours

A database client sees your most sensitive credentials. Querya is built to deserve that trust.

  • Credentials are stored in Keychain, Secret Service or Windows Credential Manager, never in plain text.

  • No telemetry, no analytics and no account. Your queries never leave your machine.

  • Updates and the Marketplace rely only on GitHub releases and repositories. No requests to other services, apart from package managers.

  • Extensions run in a sandbox and talk to the app over a JSON-RPC bridge.

  • Every release ships SHA256 checksums and a signed build attestation.

  • Open source under the MIT license. Read every line.
